Each year Goa receives 80,000 - 90,000 tourists from Russia. Currently, 3,000 Russian tourists visit Goa every week, and the state sees a possibility of an increase in the number due to the availability of both budget-friendly and premium tourist destinations.
Since the end of last year, Goa has received one charter a day, in addition to four scheduled flights a week, from Russia.
The upcoming season in Goa is set to witness a surge in the development of spa services, wellness centers, and cultural programs that highlight the region's traditional and spiritual practices. This trend towards holistic wellbeing and cultural immersion is indicative of a growing demand among travelers for experiences that nourish both the body and the mind.
